Wheelbarrow Epiphany

There is a famous quote that goes:

“Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.”

I have done both this morning and on filling this barrow it struck me how important tools are in getting a job done.

I'm calculating and approximate load of 40kg in this barrow, 10 times what my arms could carry. However, bend a bit of metal and add a wheel, and I've reduced my number of journeys by 10 and let the barrow do most of the work. Result!

I utilise this principle in my work. My tools are coaching, meditation, Mind Detox, rituals, stories, facilitated interactions with horses and time in nature. My outcomes are more serenity, calmer outlook on life, cheerier disposition, better health, more cohesion, confidence, reduction in trauma, clearer communication and greater efficacy.

Tools make the learning process easier.

They act as vehicles to provide a means from A to B.

Want a clearer head => meditation

Need to solve a problem => coaching

Burnt out => time in nature

Extremely burnt out => Reiki

Need to build your self esteem => learning with horses.

Tools are great, so it's good to make sure you're using the right ones and applying them when needed!

I welcome every prospective client to arrange a time with me to have a free 30 minute phone conversation. In this session you'll get the chance to share the problem you'd like help with and I can explain how I work and you can see if we are a good fit. You can book that session with me here:
