The hidden source of stress

Stress is the biggest cause of health issues - full stop. But what many people don't realise is that stress is often generated from within, and can be addressed with the right tools.
What may feel like an overwhelming workload, need to get everything done, or an impossible situation is generally a reflection of the conclusions you drew in childhood - and not the actual situation itself.
This means we have the power to change our relationship to our life circumstances by bringing our perspective into balance.
Not everyone responds to stress in the same way, which demonstrates how it is our relationship to the stressor that is decisive in how the event is experienced, not the other way around.
For example, a health condition can be a useful turning point to align ourselves to how we are truly feeling on the inside.
For example, we may feel an obligation and commitment to others when in reality our path has changed and it is time for us to go alone. Fearful of change, upsetting others or being seen as a failure can drive us to try and fix a situation that needs accepting, not fixing - which generates a lot of stress.
Is-ness
When we break down our problems and see them for what they really are, we realise there is no positive or negative, good or bad, right or wrong - just is-ness.
This frees us up to make heath-full and empowering decisions that feel congruent and peaceful. We may still have to be brave and put our truth into action, but this is far easier than trying to make something happen when it's not the right time.
I recommend that people proactively reach out for help when they first realise they aren't able to deal with this alone. This will prevent them from the more serious health consequences from stress but still enable them to get the learning from the experience.
I offer individual and a package of sessions to help people work through stressful times in their life. I am trained in compassionate coaching approaches that explore areas of our life we are in conflict with and how to rewire our unconscious thought processes. I specialise in the mind body connection and have 15 years experience of coaching people to better health based on excellent training and years of experience coaching others and my own journey.
