Grounded awareness

Tonight's meditation group explored grounded awareness through developing a broad and deep base.


Just like this beautiful selenite pyramid, we to work best when the majority of our awareness is on developing a strong and stable structure, both physically and energetically.


This naturally moves energy away from our heads, where too much attention leads to anxiety and overthinking, to our foundations, which generates a sense of calm and resilience.


Try it for yourself


Sit or walk imagining that your energy is pyramid in shape. Allow only a very small amount of energy/attention/awareness to be at your head. Put the greatest amount of awareness into breathing into the energy centre below your navel, allowing your belly to extend outwards with each breath. Keep your awareness in your base for the duration of the meditation, and as much as you can for the rest of the week.
